History
Milestones include:
March 1991- Established Indiana Metal Coatings (IMC)
March 1993- First plant expansion completed
Dec 1995- Changed name to Rightway Fasteners, Inc and began began major facility expansion for bolt manufacturing
May 1996- Bolt manufacturing equipment becomes operational
Sep 1998- Zinc Plating facility completed and operational
Nov 2000- Received ISO 9000 registration
Sep 2002- Received ISO 9001 registration
Jan 2003- Started nut and screw operations through joint ventures with OSR and SRA
Jan 2004- Received ISO 14001:1996 registration
July 2006- Construction completed of additional storage for raw materials
Dec 2009- Received ISO/TS 16949 Certification
Feb 2011- Installation and approval of HA-05 5th Heat treatment furnace
About Us
Rightway Fasteners, Inc began as Indiana Metal Coatings in 1991, then changed its name the Rightway Fasteners, Inc (RFI) in 1995, and has continued to grow year after year since that time.
RFI was established as a joint venture in the US from four well established Japanese owned companies; Meidoh Co. Ltd, Nagoya Dacro, Toyota Tsusho America, and Sannohashi.
In 2003, RFI expanded its product line by establishing another joint venture. Owari Seiki (OSR) which manufactures screws and nuts.
RFI now specializes in manufacturing specialty bolts and supplying a large variety of nuts and screws to some of the largest and most reputable automobile companies in the world
RFI also specializes in applying surface treatment such as zinc plating and Geomet coatings.
Currently RFI supplies over 1000 different parts, shipping over 1,000,000 pieces per day. RFI currently has over 400,000 square feet and approximately 250 employees
